Chicago man arrested in Enon for trying to use a forged prescription
ENON, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) - Enon Police arrested a 59-year-old Chicago man Friday afternoon after he reportedly tried to use a forged prescription.
Police said Linzey Allen walked into the store on West Main Street by himself and attempted to pick up a prescription, but while he was being checked out, he suddenly left the store without the prescription. He then went out to get into a getaway car, put it pulled off without him, leaving police to take him into custody on charges of illegal possession of drug documents and forgery.
That getaway vehicle allegedly drove over curbs, passed stopped traffic, ran a red light and went past 2 school buses as students were getting off them. Police chased the vehicle for a short period of time, but called it off. The suspect in the chase has still not been identified.
