Xenia Community City School District
Unofficial: Failed (46.2 for, 57.4 against)

Xenia Community Schools is on the ballot August 8 for a 4.2 mill bond issue to build a new middle/high school facility. Passage of this bond issue will permit us to build a new middle school/high school with a 40% discount. The state will be giving Xenia 28.5 million to fund this project. The state's offer, however, runs out this month. This new building will eliminate duplicating costly mechanical systems, and it will increase curriculum options for our students. The building will be located on 106 acres located at the northwest corner of St. RT. 42 and U.S. 35. and will be 13.6% larger than the existing buildings.

Clark - Shawnee Local School District
Unofficial: Passed (55.19 percent for, 44.81 against)

Shall bonds be issued by the Clark-Shawnee Local School District, Clark County, for the purpose of constructing and renovating school facilities and locally funded initiatives under the Classroom Facilities Assistance Program of the Ohio School Facilities Commission; furnishing and equipping the same; improving the sites thereof; and acquiring land and interests in land in the principal amount of $37,273,542, to be repaid annually over a maximum period of 37 years, and an annual levy of property taxes be made outside the ten-mill limitation, estimated by the county auditor to average over the repayment period of the bond issue 5.3 mills for each one dollar of tax valuation, which amounts to $0.53 for each one hundred dollars of tax valuation, commencing in 2017, first due in calendar year 2018, to pay the annual debt charges on the bonds, and to pay debt charges on any notes issued in anticipation of those bonds?

A majority affirmative vote is necessary for passage. A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Village of Camden for the purpose of current operating expenses at a rate not exceeding 4 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.40 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for 5 years, commencing in 2017, first due in calendar year 2018.
