UPDATE: Second suspect found guilty in reported planned robbery and shooting death
UPDATE: 19-year-old Michael Woods Jr. was found guilty on counts of murder and felonious assault in connection with this case.
The count of murder does include a 3-year firearm specification, and he's set to be sentenced on January 23.
UPDATE: Dawkins was sentenced to 15 years to life in prison for her role in this murder.
DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) - A 17-year-old female has been indicted in connection with a May shooting death on Hoover Avenue.
The trial for Elexus Dawkins of Dayton had been moved to adult court on charges in connection with 41-year-old Elroy Facey's death.
According to Prosecuting Attorney May Heck, Jr., Dawkins and co-defendant Michael Woods Jr. has plans to rob Facey. She reportedly performed a sex act on the victim inside a car while Woods shot the victim. When Facey attempted to run away, Woods reportedly chased him and shot him a second time. Facey was later found deceased by first responders.
Dawkins was indicted for four counts of murder, two counts of aggravated robbery and two counts of felonious assault, all of which include a 3-year firearm specifications. She is set to be arraigned June 22.
Woods Jr. had previously been indicted on May 11 for counts including murder, aggravated robbery, felonious assault and pandering sexual oriented material involving a minor.
